MSM Capsules
- MSM Flakes:
It is recommended that you start out by
taking 2-3 msm capsules a day for one week. Then the next
week take up to 6 msm capsules per day.
The optimum effective
dosage would depend on the body size, age, the msm blood level prior
to administration, and the nature and severity of the condition you
are treating. Experiment with it to see what works best for
you. MSM
capsules are better utilized in the body than tablets.
MSM
Powder or MSM Crystals - MSM Flakes:
MSM powder or crystals take at least 1-3 level teaspoons per day
(remember one level teaspoon of MSM equals 3 grams or 3,000 mg. and
one tablespoon equals 15 grams or 15,000 mg.). For best results build up to at least 20 grams of MSM a
day which is two tablespoons. MSM
has a bitter taste to it so I dissolve mine in warm water and chase
it down with another drink. Some say chocolate milk is the best to use
to disguise the bitter taste. Studies show that MSM declines with
age, so you would want to boost your supplementation as you get
older. One pound of MSM powder or crystals equals 452 grams. You cannot overdose on MSM supplements because the
body will take and use whatever it needs, and after a 12 hour period
flush any excess amounts from the body. You should see results
between 3 days to three weeks. Our MSM powder is 99.9% pure
powder. We add nothing to our powder. Powder can vary from a fluffy
powder to a powder that tends to clump. Powder that clumps is normal
and does not affect the effectiveness of the MSM. The granules or
flakes do not have this problem but may take somewhat longer to
dissolve due to the particle size. Shelf-life of OptiMSM powder is
certified to have a 5-year shelf life as so stated by Cardinal
Nutrition. MSM powder should be stored in a cool, but not
cold, dry area, such as on your kitchen shelf or pantry.
Horses MSM Crystal - Flakes:
Feed one tablespoon (15 grams) twice a day to a 1,000 pound
horse. Feed one gram per 100 pounds body weight twice a day or as
directed by your veterinarian. For all classes of horses.
MSM Side
Effects:
Your hair and
nails will grow. You will have a sudden boost of energy.
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) has been shown
to be equally effective in clinical studies as anti-flammatory
drugs, without the adverse side effects! Pure MSM supplements
can easily be tested at home by pouring a little MSM into a glass of
warm water. If the MSM falls to the bottom and does not float on top
of the water, then you have pure MSM. Fillers in MSM will stay on
